Some may have read my post on my stupid mistake of forgetting to set my ISO to 50 when shooting a roll of PanF+50 and had the dang thing set on 3200 from my last roll of HIE I shot 6 months ago. Thanks everyone for the comments in advance! Everyone has been really kind since I have been back after my 6 month break from shooting and developing. I am sure its fine, but just wanted to make sure and get some good advice and comments on its use. I just wanted to know if this sounds right for people that have used this stuff before and also how good is this stuff compared to Ilfords washaid? Are there any things to look out for or tips of what not to do with this Hustler Hypo Remover? I like to be better safe than sorry so that is why I am asking the folks here before I use it on a roll I just shot, I would rather not find out the hard way that there are issues with it and such. The reason being that the hypo clearing agent removes the fixer and the permawash removes the hypo clearing agent. I guess to make a bit less since I have a half gallon jug I could just use 2oz of this stuff and then fill the half gallon up with water. I was told that for archival processing of black and white film I need to use a hypo clearing agent followed by permawash. I normally with the Ilford go for 2min for film and then a good 15min water wash before photoflow. It says to use it for 30sec constant agitation for film after fixing and then a 4min wash in water.

Now this bottle says 4oz and then enough water to make a gallon and that is a working solution. I have never used this HypoClear or as I call it Washaid, anyway I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this stuff? It is a lot more concentrated than what I am use to which is Ilford Washaid which for film I mix 200ml of Washaid to 800ml of water to make a liter of working solution and I normallyy go for 2min constant agitation for film with Ilford Washaid. I couldn't get my usual Ilford Washaid and had to go with a different solution called Hustler Rapid BAth Hypo Remover.
